What is this job about?

In this position, we are looking for a Sales Development Representative with strong interpersonal and communication skills and ambition. As our SDR, you will be responsible for qualifying leads at the initial stages funnel. You must research potential clients, connect with and educate prospects and qualify leads before handing them off to the closers of the sales team.

What you’ll be doing?

  • Develop and execute on a strong outbound prospecting plan of attack, including phone, email, and social media;
  • Interact with prospects via telephone and email with high attention to detail;
  • Qualify new leads (inbound and outbound) managing the team sales pipeline;
  • Lead the booking process from discovery until demo booking preventing no-shows from leads;
  • Research accounts, identify key players, generate interest and develop accounts to stimulate opportunities;
  • Engage current users to expand awareness, educate, ask for referrals, identify new opportunities and develop account intelligence;
  • Quickly learn the Sioslife product, effectively communicate the value proposition and be able to react to objections and competitive questions;
  • Manage the Accounts Executive's schedules, calendars, and geographical routes;
  • Record all relevant information in a CRM;
  • Hold intelligent and engaging conversations over the phone and email;
  • Having fun!

What do we look for in you?

  • Proven excellence in business development, inside sales, and/or sales;
  • Proven business development success through effective use of core sales tools, especially Salesforce;
  • Strong understanding of SDR and lead development best practices and procedures;
  • You love being on the phone, once you will be doing a lot of cold calling;
  • A master at understanding leads pain points and getting all the necessary information in an emphatic manner, by building trust with the potential clients;
  • You are organized and will keep your pipeline up-to-date;
  • You are curious and love to learn new tools and new skills;
  • You must live and breathe startups with broad responsibilities, crazy busy, dynamic environment, lots of responsibility and lots of fun;
  • You are fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
